I thought there was a previous thread about this but cannot find it.

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hampshire-5791...

Four months she has been missing now since allegedly returning to the boyfriend's catamaran and him then claiming that she just disappeared.

It must be incredibly hard for her parents, not knowing what has happened to her, although it seems fairly obvious.

Am dumbfounded that the boyfriend was able to leave those waters and the Police have since lost all trace of him, not properly searched the boat etc.

Saw this today and it was the first time id encountered the story. It does seem really odd that boyfriend has refused an interview with the police and has been allowed to refuse.

I'm ex police and work in covert communications, I was thinking of applying for a role on St. Helena working for the police there in a covert role, I didn't apply but interestingly I was sent an application about 3 months ago by a recruitment agency asking me to apply for the newly vacated role of chief of police in BVI. A role I would be totally unsuitable for but interesting none the less that the vacancy came up unexpectedly after a possible blunder!

Absolutely awful for her parents.
