Yep, no reception here in Harrogate. Virgin service in cable is fine if course

The majority. And they go for SD too. And PVRs still roughly equal streaming for catch up. It's easy to get tricked by your own bubble.

Is it a lightning strike or some components burnt out I wonder.

How do you even start trying to put that out

No lightning today. As for putting it out: carefully.

Here's a similar fire with disastrous consequences (which won't be happening in Bilsdale):

Without the constant barrage of propaganda, the area will be free of COVID in a week.

For realsies. I’m certain I’ve not seen a broadcast TV programme for at least 3 years, almost certainly longer than that. The whole idea of a TV schedule seems so out of date.

I’d like to question your definition of “the majority” as surely you must mean the majority of license payers who consume terrestrial TV do so via an arial? In each of those homes, I’d be extremely surprised if anyone under 30 actually uses broadcast TV (and if they do it’s for big events or strictly) …surely??
We pretty well only watch broadcast TV, but we're not avid watchers - it's more a habit to put it on when were in the room (only have one TV).

Our "kids" - they're mid-30's married daughters with little kids of their own - never watch broadcast TV. Both try and avoid the TV for their kids but when they watch it's mainly DisneyPlus. They both have Netflix too. Oldest daugher didn't have a TV licence for years but that's mainly because the area she lives in gets the wrong regional broadcast. She did buy one recently - not sure what prompted that.

Blimey. How very outside toilet! Do they also fuel their transport with hay?
Are there still people trotting out these tired old cliches? Wow, do they still believe people will look up to them for their amazing intellect and cutting wit? How very Stewart Lee. Are there other things they like to feel superior about too?

Presumably if they are worried about the structural integrity and given how high it is they may have to knock it down anyway? They cant really say, Bob we are not sure if this is safe, can you climb up and check it out for us. Could use a drone to inspect I suppose.

It's a conspiracy, everybody knows that jet fuel can't melt steel radio masts.

Someone with an amazing intellect might also be aware that 'arial' is spelt aerial.....

Was it really worth connecting your 56K modem and occupying the phone line just for that wink

Only effective if the outside loo lacks running water.
