From the Mail.

"Hypocrisy to make you fume: Sadiq Khan is spotted using a cavalcade of cars - including a gas-guzzling Jaguar - to drive 4.5 miles to walk his dog... even though there's a huge park close to his street."

Why does a mayor have a cavalcade of cars ? Does he think he’s the prime minister?

Sadiq Khan = politician = hypocrite

I guess if I was in a particularly benevolent mood I'd suggest we are all hypocrites at some point. Possibly the biggest piece of hypocrisy is expecting better standards from those in power...

He has one car, the other two were Met police security detail, which the Met say are needed because of the threat level against him.

Would want to know why they didn't go to the nearer park though.

Just one that isn't embarrassingly rated "Low" on the factual reporting scale and shockingly, rated as "Low Credibility" on the MBFC Credibility Rating:

Somehow I doubt that Sadiq demanded that he must be driven in a ‘cavalcade’ of cars wherever he goes and it’s more of a case that the MET have deemed him to be at a higher risk and merits close protection such as an armoured car.

You only have to view some of the replies to his Twitter account to see there’s some seriously unhinged people out there.

And besides, didn’t man of the people Boris have a cavalcade of cars drive him to the Olympic park recently during lockdown so he could have a cycle and didn’t Cameron have his convoy follow him whilst he cycled to Parliament? At least Sadiq is not trying to hide the fact that he used protective cars to get about.

Not withstanding who checks the fact checkers, was what the Daily Mail reported correct in this instance?

Didn't Bozza recently fly down to Cornwall, at a time where he could have realistically taken a train?

That

The cars are protection detail and presumably the jag is armoured if they deem he’s at high risk of attack.

People in the public eye can’t always live like the rest of us non shocker.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Khan is a hypocrite and so is Johnson.

Absolutely fine.

On that basis maybe he could stop lecturing the rest of us that we shouldn't have or use cars for our needs.

I would say the message is, I’ll be able to start walking to the park when people stop sending me credible death threats.
