Minister: Doubts continue over Army's troubled Ajax armoured vehicles

Government Defence Minister Jeremy Quin has said he "cannot 100% promise" that noise and vibration problems with the Army's new fleet of armoured vehicles can be resolved.
Here we go again. From a country 100 years ago that could produce any weapons system you wanted, from a Battleship to an Army rifle, today we can't make diddly squat. 589 military vehicles at a cost of nearly £6,000,000 each. Contracted out to the USA company General Dynamics. Quite unbelievable. We can do engineering in this country, just look at the F1 scene, where is most of this based? The UK. But leave such to the government, and it all goes down the pan. I've lost count of the military programmes we've screwed up in this country, I was working on the Nimrod Rod replacement when it got scraped.
