What do we think. Biden does seem quite anti UK

CANZUK might be a more viable alternative for the UK to look towards thought the Canada part is more French to me than the USA,

France being the US's oldest ally is a straightforward fact, even if it makes people with Union Jack tea towels cry.

I'm sure if we all band together this country will get through this. I really feel that.

So the express runs a story on how express readers are outraged after Biden cuddles up to Macron after having shafted him on a multibillion submarine deal.

Colour me less than interested.

The “special relationship” has only ever been one way. Even WW2 , they only entered when they had to and then completely shafted financially.

Sorry Ivan I demand more comedy stereotyping, you’re letting the side down. Dead men walking’s a good start but you haven’t named the other party?

More seriously If Biden saying something good about the US relationship with the French is interpreted by the headbangers as taking a swipe at the UK then they’re just confirming their headbanger status. More sensible heads will realise the UK US relationship is as strong as it ever was as is the US French one and Biden isn’t going to take sides in a row about a few fishing boats.

Biden is a politician- they say whatever they think their target audience (in this case the French) wants to hear.

The guy is clueless, he does what his advisers tell him to do, a d hides behind his Irishness when it’s anti UK.
He’ll be remembered as the President that let China and Russia take control of the planet.

Who can blame him. When I look at our govt, and where this country seems to be going, I struggle not to be anti UK, and I'm British.

We're a joke country, an international laughing stock, with a cartoon PM.

We joke but as a country we’ve really leaned into the reactionary populism that Biden and the dems are trying to move the US away from. It’s no surprise that they’ve cooled off on the “special relationship”.
