Absolutely disgusted at the state of UK politics at the moment.

Not going to state my political opinions here, but suffice to say that I was born into (what would today be classed as) poverty, was originally working class then through luck and hard work became successful so should now be classic Tory demographic.

I haven't voted in the last few GE's because IMO none of the of the parties are competent/honest etc.

Not considering tactical voting, I'm interested to know which way you would go and why?

I won't vote for the big names probably ever again, but rather than having no hope, I do hold a little hope in the Reform Party who will be standing in every constituency.

There's two by-elections coming in Old Bexley and Sidcup and North Shropshire. I'll be interested to see how the Reform Party fare.

Labour are still nowhere near credible as opposition, let alone government.

Do they actually come up with any ideas of their own?

Mostly it seems they say nothing bar the occasional scum jibe from the usual suspects.

So I'm fairly sure the Tories will be voted back in come the next election.

Conservative. Not because I admire the current conservative st show, I live in a Labour stronghold, next polled candidate is usually Conservative, so it’s the best chance of ousting them. I wouldn’t trust current labour to run a bath let alone the country, I believe they take their votes for granted especially in their famous “red wall” seats which we’ve already seen eroded with ease.

Needs a new, good quality, political party, since Labour and Libs generally useless.
With nothing new on the horizon I guess it will be Tory for a long time yet.

This. Particularly interested in their climate policies, vis a vis no gas boilers after 2035 and no new ICE after 2030. I presume these (Tory) policies are reversible, and I see The Reform Party as about the only chance.

Other than regional nationalist parties, it's very hard traditionally to displace the established ones.

Ultimately, most people are content to leave politics to "politicians", so we reap what we show collectively.

I would say that the current "Tory" incompetence doesn't really change my views on conservatism as a political space, so the poll is a bit of a false choice in that a vote for "Tory" doesn't necessarily mean I agree with everything Boris is doing

(though I see the intent of the poll is obviously to express your disssatification with it all)

Bloody good question. Snap decision, Tories based on the shambled alternatives but to be honest its picking the least st option.

Same here , hopefully it won’t fizz out after the Tories realise they are losing votes and make their usual false promises !!
I can’t think of any reason to vote Tory or be fearful of labour getting in , I could never vote labour and it’s looking like they will scrape in this time ,it would give the Tory mob a beating and maybe knock some sense back in them if votes for reform lost them the GE

I selected "none of them" but now you remind me why I have a civil duty to vote Conservative:

cronyism and corruption is less damaging to the nation than complete incompetence.

Absolutely horrified by the Tory response to Covid, but my fear is that Labour would be even worse with regards to debt and civil liberties. I might tactically need to give my vote to the conservatives whilst holding my nose.

Scarily, under our voting system the results would probably see Johnson reelected with a majority. Maybe even increased by the collapse of Labour. And I can't imagine sentiment in the country being much different.

Barring the emergence of a totally new political force with the ideas and the people to bury the old lot once and for all the I wouldn't vote. We are at a point where anarchy would be cheaper and more fun.

Honestly I have no idea, I feel like the current parties are complete relics that don’t in any way appeal.

This for me. People have been saying "but look at the opposition!" for years but frankly I think accountability is long overdue. The Tories have been in power since David Cameron put on his best Blair-Sincere face for the posters and we're now at the point where there's nothing but corrupt incompetence at every level.

Likewise the SNP in Scotland desperately need to be kicked the fk out. Anyone does after a decade.

So you kick out the Tories after 10 years regardless - even if there's only a useless Labour party to replace it......
