CV19 - Cure worse than the disease? (Vol 16)

Let's talk logic then. Covid is a disease of the elderly, infirm and obese.
https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-...
97,516 deaths in English hospitals since Covid began and only 135 were in the 20-39 age bracket and considered 'healthy' (although this does not account for obesity and I'd wager if the stats were available you'd see a significant proportion of that 135 were obese).
Covid does not kill healthy footballers, it hasn't happened. The vaccines that are approved for this age group however have known heart related side effects. Youre right that it certainly needs to be looked at and you're definitely showing your bias.

But as has been pointed out, a number of those people we're talking about, are not actually vaccinnated.
Lots of jumping to conclusions going on around here, because it suits a certain narrative.

I still think Christian Ericsson was. Surprised we haven't heard from the horses mouth. But as has been pointed out, a number of those people we're talking about, are not actually vaccinnated.

But let's have the data on those 108......were they vaccinated? Or not....?
Saying 1/3 of footballers are not vaccinated isn't proof that these 108 instances were unrelated to the vaccine....

That's my point exactly. But let's have the data on those 108......were they vaccinated? Or not....?

There's a deadly disease going round, and pro footballers are falling ill, therefore it must be the vaccinne? Where's the proof?
Lots more research needed. Real research, not what seems to pass for it around these parts a lot of the time.

The BBC, and others, pushing the new variant evading vaccines narrative, conveniently glosses over the fact that the currently circulating variants also evade vaccines given the number of double jabbed catching the 'rona.
Exactly. If we were treating this as flu, they would’ve been working on a new vaccine to administer to the elderly/vulnerable based on latest variant in the hope they’ve found the right one for what will be dominant this winter. Instead we’ve got something that is 12 months out of date but we’ve got use up the stock pile before we’re allowed a new one Darth Paul said:

This is what I find strange. Wasn't the selling point of MrNA vaccine technology the ability to quickly change the vaccine for new variants? So when a Nu one comes along that evades the vaccine, you change the mix to stop it _ didn't do that for Delta either _ not even boosters
Something does not add up to my mind

We are using new stock, stubbornly formulated on the old virus (alpha, or even pre Alpha?). Because reasons......I thought they could knock out an update in weeks?
Edit. BVD makes essentially the same point

I suspect the issue maybe that any modifications would require clinical trials and approval from FDA/MHRA etc, especially as only FDA has granted full licencing approval for the Pfizer vaccine in the US. All other vaccines and teritories are using the vaccine under emergency use approval. They can't move faster than the virus can.So when a Nu one comes along that evades the vaccine, you change the mix to stop it _ didn't do that for Delta either _ not even boosters
