Woman sues GP for £900,000 over missed cancer diagnosis but exaggerates her disability and loses the entire claim.

It's a very sad case with the woman having to have major and unnecessary surgery, the GP admitting fault and now the woman may end up losing her house.

If she used a claims Solicitor could they have inflated/steered the issue initially?

I'm in the middle of a claim (self managed) and I've been honest throughout.

I've been up front that I've returned to martial arts but can not/will not practise fight/throw yet which is really frustrating.

I appreciate that can soften your case but why fking lie?


My experience of no win no fee made me go direct.

Surely the bigger problem is that she was evaluated by medical professionals and found to be disabled/in pain. Does the evaluation consist of anything more than a conversation along the lines of “are you in pain?”, “yes”, writes down patient is in pain…..

in December, an intelligence analysist, Mr Richard Vaughan made a witness statement.

It disclosed that on September 2, 2016 Chris Barnes, Mrs Iddon's brother, posted on Facebook: “Sara is not a victim but a fighter carrying on with her life running and swimming like she did before.”

In addition it revealed that on November 1, 2017, Sara Iddon posted on Facebook: “Fantastic night swim with Christine, Swimease 30/10/17, brilliantly organised and really good fun.”


Either stupid or hadn't involved her brother in the deception. Hope she loses her house to pay her legal fees..
