At last, someone's noticed!

Vaccinating everyone on the planet against Covid-19 regularly is not sustainable or affordable, a UK vaccine scientist has said.

It's always struck me that the 'more shots, more jabs, more boosters for everyone!!!111' narrative was deeply flawed. Interesting that even the BBC, with its deep abidance of The Narrative is now prepared to run this, and as a headline!

Is the media finally starting to question The Narrative?

I agree. The UK and many other countries could vaccinate their populations every six months, but it would be a drain, and people would become less and less likely to get it. But its not possible to vaccinate the entire world every six months.

Maybe we hope it becomes less serious (like Omicron is potential less serious), or a vaccine is developed that requires far less frequent boosters? In the meantime we are 'buying a little time'.

Since when does the NHS give the flu jab to the entire population every quarter?

If everyone can have a new iPhone every couple of years and McDonalds can shift billions of burgers I'm sure the appropriate virus jabs are equally achievable.

I don't have a new iPhone every couple of years, nor do very many other people.

We're talking about everyone having regular 'boosters', right down to 12 year olds! The costs of the materials, making it, transporting it, administering it, staffing costs, building costs, management costs, and on and on.

It's vastly more than a few people buying a new iPhone occasionally!
