Who is this guy,... apparently the head of some commons standards committee?
He was on GMB this morning and came across as, frankly, dodgy and something of a loose cannon - he was completely free and easy with his insinuations and made some comments that appeared entirely partisan and very unwise if he's then expected to preside over a quasi judicial process.
Specificially he made some comment to the effect that Muslim lady allegedly sacked due to her religion had told him that first hand and he then appeared to quickly back track when challenged by Reid and then said that, in fact, he had 'heard' it second hand.
Is this really the best we should expect of someone in such a position?
