Assume you’re a Conservative party member and you’re getting a vote on the next leader (or to keep Boris) who would you like to be the PM leading up to the next GE.

I went for Sunak but I’d probably be happy enough with any of them except Gove (and Boris) as a leader. Simply because I think any of them would do a better job at the moment.

I just took the options from the bookie favourites on odds checker and then ran out of space,

For reference the full list and odds is here

Oh, you brute. You've hurt Priti Patel's feelings. (Assuming she's got any.)

Ran out of options, she was still number 11 which I thought was a bit high tbh. Raab can’t be happy with that!

I'm a life long conservative voter who has more or less decided I'm not going to vote for them again. I'd never actually heard of Tom Tugendhat until now but I've gone with him on the basis it looks as though voted against the Plan B restrictions and I don't really know enough about him to have anything negative to say about him. My preferred choice would probably be someone like David Davis.

Not Boris or Truss, not keen on Hunt or Gove but they'd be an improvement, went for Sunak as the best of a pretty average bunch.

Makes you wonder what someone's got to do to lose the support of the far right.

Cultists.

There's always an element who will just vote for their boy regardless.

I imagine it will be the bankers prodigal son Sunak. Unfortunately all of them are utterly vile, incompetent fkwits! All completely unfit to be Prime Minister.

Could be mischievous Labour supporters. With Boris in charge it’s the gift that keeps on giving…

Was going to ask about that,

Do people voting for Boris think he’s the best option to lead the conservatives or do they want another party to win and thing Boris actually hinders the conservatives.

What sanction does Boris have over the no10 Civils who messed up?
Are they within his management structure or someone else?
If he cant sack them why would sacking him make any difference?

Wouldnt Sunak or anyone have had the same problem
