As above. Daily cases, hospitalizations and deaths are still being reported on a daily basis. Will statistics stop being reported one day, and when?

When the next pandemic arrives.

Which, handily, will be a bio engineered small pox outbreak.

Covid wont matter then.

I believe it is pencilled in for March 2022. All remaining restrictions eased, including self isolating if positive.

When there's another news story. The Financial Crisis was the only thing in the news post '08 and then just stopped.

The stats will always be reported though, that's what the ONS does, after all

I was wondering this myself - when will we and the EU basically do what the Danes have just done and say “that’s it, all done”?

Looking to America you can see how this idea that self belief and that by will power alone we will beat this has backfired. But where Britain and America share a common theme is that the health care for your average citizen is very poor not something as basic as government advice which you are either suspicious of or see as a political weakness on how it effects you personally.
It is sad to see that the daily death rate is not focusing people more as it should because many still think you can just knuckle through it as it is February now. So it won't happen anymore as the fiscal year is approaching.

Do the Danes have to self isolate if positive? Or is everything gone? My understanding was they have got rid of the "plan B" type theatre, and kept testing and isolating.

Happy to be proven wrong

Apart from seeing a few people with masks on when out and about, i don't think many people are really bothered that much any more, and i cant remember when the regular news shows last reported it.

I would like them, for a start, to count the deaths by year like everything else rather than in total.

Just as a general point, if somebody doesn't understand what you are saying, that is your fault. Not theirs.

Then you should ask what it is that don't understand about it.

Danes have got rid of all covid restrictions as defined in law. So that would include and legal requirements to self isolate. Of course people could decide to isolate themselves but I’m pretty sure it a get on with your life and live with it approach.

Sooner we get there the better IMO.

No, not really. The post was perfectly understandable.

Sisu just didn't like what it said, so chose to be arsy about it

Trying to deflect that back onto Electro just comes across as lame.

As a general point of course.
