Why is it ok to wave Ukrainian flags at football matches but not Palestinian ones ? Celtic were fined €10000 for fans waving the Palestinian flag .

Isn't it because:

1/ There is no consensus on the Palestinian issue.
2/ People who wave flags are more anti Jew than pro Palestine.
3/ Palestinians voted in a regime that seeks to rid Israel of all Jews, where Ukraine just wants Russia to go home.

It’s a double standard for sure -Because unfortunately people start labeling you as anti-Semitic if you support Palestine’s even if it’s just supporting them for their basic human rights and not being forced out of their own home …

The usual suspect will claim supporting Palestine means supporting Hamas milltary which is bit like saying if you support Ukraine then you are supporting the Azov Battalian ( a neo-nazi battalion) officially part of the Ukraine National guard who wear swastikas and believe in white supremacy…

If I recall correctly Lavazza board asked one of the Arsenal players to be fired because he showed a T shirt with the Palestinian flag…again apparently anti-Semitic..

Can we talk about how Jordan took 1/3 of Palestine (from memory) which no one protests about, yet Israel takes a portion and you protest….because you hate Jews…not sure theres another conclusion.

You’ve proved my point … now stating I hate Jews and shut down any conversion because I expressed that it’s legitimate to show support for those who have lost homes livelihoods etc in the same way we are showing support for Ukraine?

Are saying no one should be allowed to support for Palestinians?

Let’s make this clear because a lot of people try to conflate this issue .. just because you don’t agree with with with a Governments actions does not make you anti-Semitic..

You do realize there are Jews in Israel and around the world who don’t agree with the current actions of the Israeli government ? Does that mean they hate themselves too?

Because the UK does not recognise Palestine as a Sovereign state.

The same applies to North Cyprus - as David Haye discovered a few years ago when he wore their flag on his shorts during a fight.

Ukraine is a recognised sovereign state.

I'm not aware of Jordan expanding into Palestinian territory or having military operations within Palestinian territories in the last 50 years.

Or that Palestinians were given citizenship and parliamentary seats in Jordan.

Sorry, didn’t realise we put a time limit on this. Fact remains, 80% (I googled it) of Palestine has been taken by Jordan, you only protest the small bit taken by Jews…

You ignored the part about how when Jordan annexed the west bank they gave everyone on the land Jordanian citizenship.

They didn’t take the land, destroy what was there and displace the people.
