I think some of the people making comments have got it right, it's most likely an LPG/CNG gas powered bus with the gas tanks mounted on the roof.

They are mistaken. That bus company does have e-busses, but this is NOT one of them. For starters the batteries are in the floor on the e-busses.

This is an LNG powered bus, and the (3) tanks are on the roof, as is common. The tank over pressure blow-off valves have opened to prevent them violently exploding, but giving off some impressive flares instead.
