Cyclist arrested for riding along the M3....
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-61...

Most likely had been taking some of the drugs he was carrying

What is it with people who can't get back into the right hand lane when they've completed their overtake!

"As officers tried to stop the cyclist he switched lanes and continued to cycle along the outside lane."

Outpacing them was he?

I'd love to see the CCTV.

You honestly can't work out why stopping a cyclist on a live motorway wouldn't need quite a few resources?

In the UK - yes. I'm sure in the US they would be a bit more 'inventive' about stopping the cyclist i.e. a gentle nudge!

Cycling in lane 2 is pretty clearly drugged up.

But yesterday I was cycling on a full blown motorway hard shoulder just the other side of Southampton... the road isn't a motorway any more, so quite legal. And to be honest pretty relaxed compared to many other trunk roads.

I have never understood why some drug dealers, and other criminals, make it so easy for the police by drawing attention to themselves by pointless motoring offences. Makes a change for it to be a cyclist though!

Too high on their own supply?

Plus low level drug dealing doesn't tend to attract the most intelligent people to the job.

That's probably it, but you might expect some low level deviousness at least. Doesn't take a genius to work out that cycling on the M3 is a bad idea!

Spotted a fast-food delivery cyclist on the Royston section of the M8 in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago. At least he wasn't trying to negotiate Townhead or Charing Cross.

He was probably overtaking, must've been good drugs.

He can expect a call from Team Sky Ineos.

We have Craigslist here and the number of morons openly selling drugs is amazing.
It was common to arrange a buy and if the fkstick had the drugs with him, on went the cuffs and said fkstick was always surprised and couldn't work out how we knew.
You just can't fix stupid.

For a start, they couldn't get within 1.5 metres.
