How the time passes, I remember this so vividly like it was last year, yet nine have passed since this dreadful senseless killing. RIP Lee.

Anyway saw this story and thought it was worth sharing.... The mother of murdered Fusilier Lee Rigby is overjoyed to have opened a holiday sanctuary for traumatised veterans as a “force for good” in his memory. Her son was slain by extremists on the streets of London on May 22, 2013

I have no idea how you ever get over that kind of evil visiting your family but if there is any "good" that could come out of what happened I guess that's something.

+1.

The perverse thing is this good thing is something that wouldn't have happened if Lee Rigby hadn't have been murdered.
I hope it helps many people.

Remember it well. Was on an overseas exercise and one of the guys had just had a run in with some locals whilst out for a run. Reported it when he got back to a bunch of sombre looking officers who had just been told of the attack, cue massive precautionary security measures until it became clear he'd just run into known local weirdos
