A group of mothers reported assaults on their children by a gang of teenagers to the police, only to be told there was no one available, it was not serious enough etc.

This is local to me, and although I would not wish to condone vigilante violence I can see that it may end up going that way.

Some of the assailants have been told to write letters of apology.

I saw this . It seems like very serious assault is taking place. I cant help thinking if that was me or anyine else on PH doing the beating we would have been hunted down now by Plod.

Yes, I saw that and was disgusted by the assaults and the police response.
