Some of us will know him for his rally driving, Gymkhana videos, and other activities. Lots of reports are on news sites about him passing away, from what seems to be a snowmobile accident.

Here are some news sources:

Wow….that’s come as a bit of a shock! frown Extremely talented and passionate car guy. Overall seemed to be just a great guy. The car world has lost a massive positive influencer. Condolences to his loved ones. RIP HOONIGAN.

A sad loss.

A talented and passionate petrolhead who inspired a generation for our mutual love of cars.

Only solace I can find is he was doing something he loved.

R.I.P.

Lived life right on the edge right up until the last. Went doing what he loved.

Also, only a few hours before his final social media messages were promoting his daughters endeavors.

Sad news. RIP KB. I only recently watched the video with him and his daughter and the old Quattro on YouTube

Bit spooky, I saw this news an hour or so ago. Very sad.

Went on Instagram just now as I haven’t been on all day. First up was Kens stories.. snowy drive, and pictures of the snowmobiles they were about to go out on.

Terrible

Amazing talent. I guess living life on the edge always made something like this all the more likely.

Sad stuff, RIP and thanks for the videos!

I'm really shocked.

He was a huge part of car culture, particularly to my age group who saw the first Gymkhana become the first real viral car video.

Very sad. Based on my quick reading he wasn't doing anything that "on the edge" . Just unlucky.

Went up a steep hill and ended up with the machine landing on him.

Judging by the photo he prob jumped at the crest and it came back down on him. You can see the one of the front skis of the machine on the right.

What sad news. Also heard the actor Jeremy Renner has been seriously hurt in a snow ploughing accident. I guess as they're slow moving, one doesn't expect there to be serious accidents.

Didn't realise Ken Block was Co founder of DC shoes.

Man, so sad frown
Snow-based machinery is always dangerous stuff, seems 2023 has reminded us of that with 2 incidents with well-known people already.
RIP KB!
