BBC News breaking story. For writing a racist piece in one of today’s papers.

That’s a turn up for the books.

It's ok, it was just a draft she accidentally sent, presumably she intended to scan it for anti-semitic stuff later?

An awful woman, finally being seen for exactly what she is.

A stunning lack of self-awareness given the EHRC inquiry into anti-semitism in the Labour Party on Corbyn's watch.

This is the letter she wrote which she now claims was a draft sent in error.

I don't know much about Irish history but I can think of around 6M Jews and Gypsies who may beg to differ if they hadn't been wiped off the face of the earth.

Vile.

Very swift response. I bet SKS had very few second thoughts about it.

Having played the race card so very often in the past, it seems she's now been hoist by her own petard. What a pity.

And how exactly do you disassociate yourself from your own words?

“Sorry everyone. I was so high on shrooms I thought I was a spider.”

Why would you post that in a national paper, even if you were thinking it. What would you gain? Nothing. What could you lose? Everything. Amazing own goal.

Massive liability for the Labour party. I bet they'll be glad to be shot of her.

About time she was retired or booted out.

If that was a draft, I dread to think what the final version would have looked like … the shoe’s on the other foot now!

I'm not a fan of DA, but I seem to be missing the issue with the letter, its an opinion on her definition of racism.

She didn't claim the groups listed didn't suffer discrimination.

Good ridence for a variety of reasons - how this woman ever got into parliament is beyond me.

I have Jewish friends, colleagues & also a couple of relations. I find it unacceptable that they are somehow 'fair game' as they are white.

What do you find vile about that.

It appears a reasonable point of view to me.

She seems to have realised the issue with it?

Probably a bit of a gift for Starmer to be able to get rid of her. Quite a few more like her though.

I was thinking along similar lines.

whilst I detest DA & most of what she stands for I don't think what she wrote is as bad as people are making out.

That being said, good riddance to her regardless of pretext.

I'm sure there will be a statement but presumably it's the downplaying of racism towards those groups with comments like "they are not all their lives subject to racism".
