John Bolton was being interviewed by John Pienaar on Times Radio this afternoon. He came across as very level-headed and certainly did not say he would not run for the Republican nomination. Does he stand a chance ?

The original neo-con has been round the block several times, arguably the most influential war monger of the lot.
Clever bloke, but he's a tad right wing - I suppose he was a very well informed government advisor, but doesn't come across as a good politician/leadership material, so no.

No chance. Everyone he has worked with hates him.

I couldn't agree more, he is still one of the most dangerous people in the World if left to his own devices.

He's helped push the US to war many times, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands and yet he made sure he didn't get sent to Vietnam.

He's a vile loathsome coward so probably an ideal candidate for the GOP.

Yeah he definitely has a, um , muscular foreign policy stance. But he’s an Anglophile and hates Donald Trump so he’s not all bad!

That gave me a laugh this morning. The walrus warmonger is despised by the right and the left. Zero chance, he may not even crack 1%

Not Tr*mp, so he gets my vote.

Well, he doesn't actually as for some unaccountable reason our so-called 'special relationship' apparently doesn't let us vote in the US.
