Jesus, I have a bit of an irrational fear/hatred of monkeys for some reason but what the hell makes people want to watch stuff like that?

I read the title and assumed it was related to some 2000s mighty boosh / brass eye type sketch. Not an actual thing.

Jesus... The sooner we die out as a species the better. We really are virus that kills its host aren't we.

"Tonight, in session from Maida Vale, the Sadistic Monkey Torturers", yep, that works.

I have never tortured a monkey, just some spanking now and again....

Would be funny to lure that weird fker in and say I have a nice monkey for you to abuse, here he is, he is called Denzil, he is very, very pissed off having seen your videos, also very hungry and has been given 100 MG of Viagra and a litre of Monster Energy, have fun !

The long format article linked in the main BBC news article makes for interesting reading, particularly the parts about the main people involved setting themselves up as undercover informants. All engaging in fantasist behaviour, hoping to indulge their perversion and portray themselves as the good guy when it inevitably came crashing down.

The monkey in a blender video sounds particularly unpleasant.

Not a broadcasted thing, but this was apparently a human body parts, for alternative medicine, 'factory'

Hard to think how any person gets to this point/level.

There isn't much these days which can shock or upset me but this certainly did. Having worked with chimps and orangutans for a brief period in Malaysia, it's awful to think of defenceless infants being subjected to such things.

What is wrong with people? How do you reach a stage of being able to watch this and not feel anything let alone derive pleasure from it.

If you're found guilty of something like this then the punishment should be that the torture is replicated on the convict.

I saw that article and started to read it, but couldn't make it through to the end. It beggars belief. Absolute cowardly scum.
