Its true I am afraid . In 25 years we have become unrecognisable as have our Government and our Institutions . Perhaps its just an inherent fault of Democracy but to me it used to seem that every Minority and every Loudmouth had to have an opinion and a say even if that opinion is at odds with the majority . I suspect that's no longer the case , the question now is rapidly becoming who does that Majority comprise of ?

I think it goes back further than that. How much migration did we have from countries that weren't part of the commonwealth? I know for my dads generation they grew up under the British Raj, and always thought of the UK as the motherland and with huge admiration. It was only natural that when Britian needed cheap labour after WWII that people from those countries obliged and came over, and now we have their descendants as the present and future citizens of Great Britain.

Today I took the bus to Salcombe.

I had to look to Mecca before I was allowed on. Then I had to ask an imam for permission to sit. He allowed me to sit behind the dogs but only after whipping my feet.

The souk in Salcombe is certainly very vibrant but I felt the absence of women quite keenly.

While there is clearly a major problem, claiming the "Islamists are in charge" is an exaggeration and also intemperate language for a politician presumably hoping to return to the front bench.

the headline is hyperbolic. The point she makes are worth going through.

I thought we'd see a new party of Islam forming in the UK under a non threatening banner, with enormous funding from the Gulf, to grow rapidly into a kingmaker critical mass (5 million votes +) but I don't think that's needed as Labour has shown they're quick to bend to the muslim (or muslim-influenced) voting block. The irony is that they now say they bullied the speaker as the "Far Right" was the threat to MPs.

The Conservatives won't behave any differently, given they've pissed off 1/3 of their voter base beyond return.

The fact we're going bananas over something happening in the Middle East, which Israel will completely ignore anyway, tells you all you need to know.

Things aren't going to get better from here.

The way all those immigrants were welcomed to our green and pleasant land with not so much as a single racist slur uttered against them?
