Used his own passport as ID whilst commiting a crime, you couldn't make it up

I would think there is a bit of previous taken into account here to receive that sentence

I did hear from friends that live in Poole that he did receive a good beating for doing it

And yes, I understand he had previous as I googled the crooks name and saw a few other offences.
