King Charles/Royal Family and Wimbledon today?

I understand there is illness but at least one could've shown up. Did they?

Given current Politics, I'd have thought it might send a message. Especially with the Scottish factor.

This is “Royal Week” in Scotland/Edinburgh, where traditionally the RF spend their time at Holyrood Palace hosting and attending a large number of events/engagements. I know this for a fact as I stopped at a junction yesterday in the city centre with my dog and got a wave from the Queen as she passed

The traditional week was cut short to allow the King to return to London due to the election. I suspect they are all rather busy at the moment to bother about Wimbledon.

I'm not entirely convinced that the king going to Wimbledon would have sent any message on current politics, or Scotland
