Rather worrying. I wonder if he will be taken/found alive?

Family of a BBC racing commentator. Can't imagine how awful it must be.

With that hairstyle and beard, physiognomy tell me everything I need to know about him!

Terrible situation and another example of small man rejection syndrome, utter bell end!

Killed 3 people with a crossbow so not an accident…

Shall we spend £40k a year on his accommodation or just hang him?

Scum of the world…

Holy Christ! Is he another lunatic that should have been in a secure institution like the Nottingham incident?

Quite a jump at this stage but I'd put money on it being a scorned lover.

That's certainly what the DM are reporting. And before you ask, £800,000.

Certainly more to come out on this. All seems a tad weird.
Also, how fast can you reload a crossbow? Not like a gun.

Some reports are saying the victims were tied up and then shot, presumably with the crossbow. Beyond grim. frown

The victims were tied up. Cruel, evil execution of helpless women.

The DM never fails to provide the salient information when publishing their stories. Personally, including the price of the house when discussing the gruesome murder of someone is disrespectful and irrelevant, maybe the DM feels people who rent are less deserving of public sympathy.

Either way, hope they found the killer. Ideally after he killed himself in a reasonably tidy manner.

I had that thought, they aren't the quickest things in the world to reload (you're probably talking 30-40s to reload), but then I remembered that repeating
crossbows exist, usually they will hold 6-8 bolts which is easily enough.

ETA: Just saw another post that the victims were tied up, which makes reloading times pretty irrelevant. Poor ladies frown

Total guess scorned lover of the youngest blames mum and older sister. So in his tiny mind logical thing is to execute them all with a crossbow.....

I am 50:50 on if he is found alive or takes his own life at this point where is he going to go after all. Hardly going to skip country to Brazil is he.

I would think that using a crossbow to cause a self inflicted fatal injury might be a little difficult.

But the spurned lover angle looks possible although with that level of personal grooming I wouldn't be surprised if he might prefer men to ladies.

When this broke at about 11am and I heard 3 women in one house my mind immediately went to mum and 2 daughters but first thought was more that dad had cracked to then end himself elsewhere if I'm honest.

I'm more expecting them to find a body somewhere than anything else right now...

Really feel for the dad, he found them, he came home from work to find them like that, his whole world!

Awful news, really can't even begin to comprehend what the father is going through right now.

Personally I hope the scum responsible simply tops himself.

Unspeakably evil. How awful for poor John Hunt.
