This is just horrific.

The reason I posted it is that firstly how brave this lady is in doing away with her anonymity and right to a closed trial. Also how in France you are allowed to talk about the case quite openly where in the U.K. you would be gagged for fear of prejudicing the jury.

I hope she can find some happiness in her later years.

Sometimes I wonder if Valerie Solanas had a point.

I don't know, perhaps this quote from the article could give you a hint..... " According to the investigation, Dominique watched and filmed the proceedings, eventually creating a hard-drive file with some 4,000 photos and videos on it. It was as a result of the upskirting episode that police found the files on his computer.
Police say they have evidence of around 200 rapes carried out between 2011 and 2020, initially at their home outside Paris, but mainly in Mazan, where they moved in 2013."

They found a folder on his computer entitled photographs of my unconscious drugged Mrs unknowingly being banged by blokes I'd found on the internet.

Or something like that.

Oh and another called naked pictures of my daughter while drugged and unconscious.

I don’t understand how he managed to keep drugging her without her realising it

Probably a drinker, might have thought she just blacked out.

Mind boggling really, I had a friend that found out her husband had been taking pictures of her while she was sleeping, that swiftly led to divorce , you have to wonder what drives someone to think this is okay

Strangely I can't see a topic on this, but apologies if there is one.

Looks like all defendants guilty and some decent sentences being handed out. Extraordinary case and an extraordinary and brave woman. People have kinks and fetishes but this is a very odd one indeed. Good to see her husband get 20 years. How could you do such a thing?

Ok he will likely die in jail, 20 years seems a bit on the low side though.

Does 20 years mean out in 10, or does France do these things properly?

The guy is a fking animal, as are the 50 (!) people he is being charged alongside. I hope he faces some of his own treatment inside.

His wife, and his own daughter too. Monster.

20 years is the max sentence in France
Apparently it was only raised from a misdemeanour 50 years ago

I presume there is a limitation as he wasn't a rapist as I understand it however he enabled, so was a part of a conspiracy and I imagine it would be the max sentence for that crime. I'm sure a lawyery person will be able to explain.

I've tried to avoid reading too much about what seems one of the most horrible, depraved, stories of modern times.

But, ffs. The justice systems we've ended up with are fked.
