just had a colleague mentioned a suspicion device has been found at Gatwick and they have evacuated the terminal, sounds like complete chaos

I wonder if the intelligence agencies have intell of a bombing campaign in the run up to christmas and are jumping on anything that looks suspicious.

Seems likely. Chester scare is reported locally to have been caused by an individual pretending to have seen something suspicious. He is now being hunted by Police.
Doesn't sound like part of a Kremlin plot!
