No other options, just Yes or No.
No includes all possibilities; natural death, assassination, health, being somehow removed from office - impeached, a revolution, revolt by the party.
Whether things would be any better with Vance taking over is questionable though!
I think no by anything but the 2nd option is possible but having said that any one of the local crazies could tryNo includes all possibilities; natural death, assassination, health, being somehow removed from office - impeached, a revolution, revolt by the party.

It seems very unlikely that he’ll be removed from office against his will by any external means. There’s just way too much of a cult thing going on.
I think there’s a near (but not entirely) zero chance he’ll step down of his own choice.
There’s a larger chance he’ll be dead of natural causes, or an assassination. The former will be preferable.

Afraid so, but not sure Vance would be an improvement.
He's a useful front man/distraction so unless he starts threatening to nuke people I can't see them removing him. And he may be a fat inactive lump but he has the best healthcare money can buy. There's no way he'll step down willingly.
So that leaves assassination. I'm sure there are plenty who want to but he has as good security as is possible and, crucially, doesn't need to do the big open air gatherings any more. I know he came damn close during the campaign but now he's been elected they can lock him down much more tightly.

It might have been better to have a selection of probabilities of surviving eg 10%, 20% etc as I voted yes but only on the basis that he likely has a better than 50% chance but there is a strong possibility he won’t. He has enabled the lunatics to take over the asylum so would it matter that much if he did die?

Trump was legitimately elected and is so far doing what he said he would do.
and people are fantasizing about him being assasinated.
I have to agree. Trump is a bellend but he was legitimately voted in and, so far, is sticking to his promises.and people are fantasizing about him being assasinated.

I have a couple of friends in US law enforcement, they are very happy that Trump won, they say that’s pretty much echoed throughout the whole service.

“Somehow removed from office - impeached, a revolution, revolt by the party” - eh? The majority of Americans are delighted/relieved that they now have someone in charge who is doing what he said he would do prior to the election so why would there be a revolution or a revolt?
As someone else mentioned, I think we have much more pressing matters at home to worry about. I suspect that on our current trajectory, come the next election the majority of people in this country will be praying for someone a bit more like Trump and a lot less like Starmer….

Of course he will.
And then he’ll do another 4.
And within those 8 years his AI project combined with help from Musk will allow him to upload his consciousness to a data centre and become immortal, thus allowing him to be “Emperor of the USA” forever.
I can very much see him making an attempt to stay in power, or create a hereditary line ala his 'democratic' pal in North KoreaAnd then he’ll do another 4.

And 50% of the USA would clap like demented seals
