How is the judge allowed to remain anonymous?

Sometimes you read these things and think there simply must be more to it because it's so mad.

Actually reading it, it sounds as though the anonymity is likely due to ongoing legal issues as the home office themselves have successfully appealed the judges decision.
Sounds like the appeals judges decision was plain wrong and the case is currently being re-heard.

I think they’d be an awful lot more to it than simply a distaste for non-U.K. chicken nuggets but it keeps Daily Mail enthusiasts angry and clicking so…

There’s a section in the Secret Barrister’s first book where he/she takes a look behind an earlier case where the papers (and a certain Theresa May) claim a failed asylum seeker was allowed to stay because of his cat but when the case was examined in the book there was a whole host of legitimate reasons why he was allowed to stay and the judge made a joke at the end about the cat being a contributing reason but guess what the Daily Mail printed and what it also omitted?
