Time they started naming them, not hiding their identity because of their age.

A bit more of an incentive for potential criminals not to do something nasty? Therefore less chance of anyone else becoming a victim.

Of course no one wants crimes committed, but being devils advocate - how does naming the accused (innocent until proven guilty) help that?

Naming people is not done in some countries prior to trial (any age)

Personally I think we should do the same to avoid trial by media.
