Thief with previous 24 month (served 14) for threatening Aled Jones with machete being sentenced on June 17 after an attempt phone theft where he threatened to stab an actress in the face.
She fough thim off and kept it.
Needs 3 years. My guess 1. CCTV of incident.

Given that the (teenage) murderer of an 80-year-old dog walker was sentenced to 7 years for that a few days ago, three years seems rather unrealistic for this. She fough thim off and kept it.

She added: London has become increasingly dangerous, and this cannot be normalised. I m not just speaking for myself I m speaking for every person who s had enough.
bzzzzt!! wrongspeak!!
It's only wrongspeak if it's actually wrong, and stats are available for recorded crime and people's experiences of crime so you can find out if London has become increasingly dangerous or not, over whatever timescale you think is relevant.bzzzzt!! wrongspeak!!
Looking at this, it seems to not be true over the last year, but presumably if you started a time period during Covid it would look like it's going up, and maybe there are other time periods which would also show an increase. Interesting that it seems London is safer than England and Wales in general though.

Still lite, If you go out and assault someone and they die it should be murder. For manslaughter, not murder.

Excuse my ignorance, what's a workday person?
Good question. Lies, damn lies and statistics. It's used to measure the population during the working day. The City of London's workday population is 50 times more than the actual number of people who live there. Similarly, the working day population of London is far higher than the actual population. Obviously, it heavily distorts the crime figures to make London look better than it is.Some crimes are more visible than others.
"Theft From the Person offences have a crime rate of 11 reports per 1,000 people in London, which is 23 times the national average. This figure is calculated from 94,133 crime reports logged by Metropolitan Police during the 12-month period ending September 2024."

Worrying about using your phone in public or getting watches stolen doesn't enhance quantity of life.
