It would be lovely if this thread didn't get closed down like the last one about the Jog On campaign because some people can't accept that migrants aren't single handedly responsible for this filth.
Shocking statistics and something that should make anyone think what the hell we are teaching our boys and men.

"Overall, 68% said they changed their everyday behaviour to avoid being sexually harassed, with one in three (32%) altering what they wear. More than a quarter (28%) of the 2,640 respondents said they had avoided places where they used to socialise and one in 10 (12%) changed where they exercise."

When you've got the likes of Andrew Tate being dripped in boys and young mens ears and seen by what I think are too many people as someone that should be listened to along with men that get far too defensive about some of the behaviours that cause girls and women to feel that way I'm not as surprised as I think I should be that in 2025 it's not only still and issue but in some areas it's more of an issue than it was previously.
As the article says though it's the girls and women we should be asking and more importantly listening to.

I don’t see anything in culture that has changed that. I’m sure many of us lived through the lad mag era (loaded, nuts etc). It didn’t measurably change the metric.
Tate may have in recent years but as I say it’s not his mo.
Weird imported behaviours as Germany experienced re the Cologne nonsense, isn’t just migrant blaming. That actually happened.
I parked my car the other side of a short tunnel tonight. When I went back it was dark. So I took the long way round to avoid the tunnel to avoid getting mugged/bummed/beaten up whatever.
I'm astonished that 30% of women are so reckless that they never alter their behaviour. Seems like common sense to me.

As numbers of people from different cultures who don't see girls and women as equals rise it's understandable that some will have to suffer for the sake of diversity as we have been told before by the labour MP Naz Shah and apparently Jess Phillips chooses to ignore it for votes no wonder there are many women who feel unsafe in fact it's not only sexual attacks but terror attacks are also a big worry for anyone.
Anybody with a wife or adult daughters, or female friends, will already be aware of this; in short there are a lot of pathetic blokes out there who have no idea about how to interact with women. Being perved on in public places, on nights out, or at the gym, or just going for a run is common place. And if you ignore them you get called various names or worse.
If this is a surprise to any men, then fair enough. But, frankly - for women, the world doesn't feel inherently safe. I've never been shouted at when out for a run, or had people making comments from a building site, or being inappropriate in the workplace - but it happens to women all the time, and that is the "easier" end of it. When you are (or feel like) prey, anyone could be a predator.
GB news this evening rapes have more than trebled since 2015. 75% of rapes are committed by British born people....they didn't describe it that way but focused on the 25%.
Truth is if you could get a 25% reduction in rapes no one would see it as a bad thing it would stull mean we had a load of wring uns still here though

The fact is that the folk getting up to things which make girls and young women want to alter their behaviour can range from the blue-blood senior partner at some high falutin' consulting/accounting/law firm, a teenage boy who sees girls being told they can do anything and achieve anything in life while they are left with Andrew Tate to be their sole role model, a twenty-something man who has lived their whole life in a cultural silo which has views on females which are very different to western.views and many more. But that's not to say all males are like that - it's a tiny percentage.
