Been following his career since the 1960's.

So glad I went to see him perform in Guildford last April.

The Moodies are probably my favourite group ever.

Depends what you call the original line up? Lodge and Hayward didn't join until 1966.
The only other member still alive (if you can call him that, as he was sacked by the group, which led to a court case over royalties, is the Swiss guy Moraz.

We were due to see him in Brum round the same time.

15 minutes before curtain up he was blue-lighted to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth hospital.

Sadly we couldn't make his rescheduled show.
