Another example of that thing the radical left said isn't an issue because it doesn't really happen, happening.

Obviously the real winner, Andrea Thompson, lost the chance to properly celebrate a win, and is now dealing from the backlash of the loony left.

Thompson, first crowned world's strongest woman in 2018, said the manner she had won the title had taken the gloss off it, but praised Strongman for "investigating and rectifying the situation so quickly".

"What should be a momentous occasion has sadly been overshadowed by scandal and dishonesty from someone who was welcomed into our crazy sport," she said in a post on her Instagram, external account.

"I am not only frustrated with not being able to celebrate a win, but also for the ladies who had their time to shine on the podium or reach the final day, taken away from them."

Thompson, from Suffolk, said she and fellow competitors were "mentally drained" having "received backlash and insults" since the decision, which "needs to stop".

"This has been the most exhausting experience of my career," she added.

"We, as a community are taking a stand. Protecting women's sport as we have fought so hard for."

I think the issue was the original winner had not declared their original birth gender which would have likely precluded them from competition.

In other news men are stronger than women

Exactly. There were rules in place and it turned out that the original winner had cheated as far as I can tell. I'm not sure that many people, even those on "the left" or keen on "woke" stuff actually want that to happen.

Talking of Eddie Hall I think he was one of the first with a big platform to call this out.

It wasn't the organisers who investigated this. From the time this became public people online starting digging into the Redditt history of the supposed female winner and other social media presence (including an Only fans I think) this was passed to Eddie and he started calling it out.

Anyhow this was a travesty from the start and good to see justice done. The physical advantages of going through a male puberty can never be taken back, no matter if testosterone levels are "suppressed" (to a level still above a normal woman). This is particularly pronounced in strength events.

A silver lining for the true winner is that now many will now be aware of her and can appreciate the dedication she has put in. The clip of her walking off the podium has been seen millions of times by now.

You don't think a lot of the left want trans athletes to have the right to compete in women's sport?

Lefties are already cheaters, flat caps more aerodynamic than top hats, hob nail boots way more traction than leather soled brogues.

It's a proven fact, and suppressed secret, that left wingers on average weigh 40-60% less for the same volume.

This is down to the weight of morals and common sense that they lack.

Right wing athletes are fed cocktails of drugs after identification to equalise performance.

It makes me sick.

A good video from Eddie I think - including at the end asking people to be civil and nobody have a go at the original winner. But I wonder if he is a bit soft with the organising federation who seem not to have done enough to verify the background of who was in the competition. It doesn't seem to be an argument about whether Jamie Booker should or should not have been in the competition but simply a case that they didn't come clean about who they were.

He was clearly biting his tongue throughout as this is his world and he probably has to stay on good terms with the key people.

Many suspect that the organisers knew, but didn't want to do anything until it went public. Once it did they reacted almost instantly.

How would it benefit the organisers, one way or the other?

If the truth never came out, nobody would be any the wiser, the world would move on.

Now that the truth has come out there is a PR backlash and they've had to take action to clear up the mess.

So, given that there's no positive benefit to the organisers of having a Trans athlete competing and plenty of downside, why would they not have done anything about it if they knew?
