What a way to set up a huge slush fund that individuals will probably end up in charge of rather than legitimate organisations.

The world is so fked up at the moment, I keep waking up to total wonder at what the fk has gone on overnight. It continues to astound me every single day.

It looks like corrupt gangsterism on an international scale, hiding in plain sight.

Is "Chutzpah" a sufficient word to describe it?

They do see it. But they obviously think it's worth the fee to have undue influence over the world's largest economy/military.
You think the likes of Belarus and Saudi Arabia give two fks whether that money's going to help orphans or not?

It's the equivalent of young boys asking,
"Look after your car, mister?" on the streets near a football stadium.

"Only $1Billion"

If he can't do a third term, he has to find a way to weald some power. The UN is full of nominated representatives, with the BoP Trump retains top position as well as securing even more money for himself. It's amazing that his MAGA crew can't see him enriching himself at every turn and still see him as one of their own...

Whatever one thinks of this Board of Peace, and frankly I don't think much of it beyond a giant grift and very shady. Just to point out following that speech the big orange man baby has removed the invitation to Canada to join, and Putin has stated there is no hope of peace and will continue to keep striking Ukraine until all his land demands are fully met.

These individuals are sleaze bags. Whatever one thinks of Starmer he is right to have nothing to do with it.

Agreed, we should not only avoid but positively call it out is as the abomination that it is.

How can it be taken seriously when Putin, currently executing such a viscous and pointless war, committing war crimes and approving his soldiers to commit atrocities be invited to a Board of 'Peace', especially when Canada are disinvited, purely for slighting Trump?

It's a good thing Hitler is dead otherwise he'd likely be on it too FFS.

Maybe Trump thinks this might get him his Nobel Peace Prize and, it will certainly grift him a few more $bn.

What has the World become that this corrupt POS is allowed to continue on his one-man World destruction path?

Going by the list of villainous, unflushable, turds who've signed up, this is the real world version of SPECTRE, is it not?
