To be fair, I think Emily Thornberry was one of the first to ask for Mandy to be referred to the police

She didn't actually report him, just asked the house if the police should be involved.

"Labour MP Emily Thornberry asks whether "police should be involved" following recent revelations in the Epstein files.

She tells MPs that Mandelson "sent on market sensitive information to Epstein" and told him "about matters of national security".

"Surely this is not a matter of whether Peter Mandelson should be in the House of Lords, this is a matter of whether the police should be involved".

Surely it’s why they chose him for the role? He could met up with an old friend from Epstein Island, and share insider info trading hints which is clearly a major US policy these days?

I think perhaps there's more than misconduct in public office I think there's possibly serious financial crimes here, some form of insider trading ?

It certainly effects the EU and the US and it's something the US certainly take extremely seriously

Could we yet see Mandleson back in the US, but this time in handcuffs on an extradition warrant ?

The US takes it seriously unless you do it on a scale to make a st load of money and can use that to buy influence to avoid issues.
