So who do we reckon are the three people arrested on suspicion of spying?

Reports say a 39 year old in London a 43 year old in Pontyclun and a 68 year old in Powys. There's even a suggestion that one is the spouse of a Labour MP.

sources told the Guardian they included the partner of a Labour MP. A second person is understood to be the partner of a former Labour MP. The identity of the third, or whether they have any links to parliament, is unknown.

I once naively asked someone with an interest in 'spy stuff' whether he reckoned there might be any foreign agents in the House of Commons. 'Not so many as you might suppose' was his verdict. Maybe he was naïve.

Alex Davies-Jones fits the bill there, she's Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice. MP for Pontypridd.
