mummy's little promising footballers playing up again. This needs a serious clampdown.
had it been "the far right" looting shops, we'd have had 2 tier kier up on his soapbox calling for life sentencing

Is London as dangerous as you think?
Hint: No, it's racist propaganda on social media being propagated by racists and/or idiots.

Good link. So partly political but also because of the financial incentives to post inflammatory content on line.Hint: No, it's racist propaganda on social media being propagated by racists and/or idiots.

Clapham- Sadiq Khan weighs in on 'unacceptable' actsarticle said:
Sadiq Khan has condemned recent violence in south London as "absolutely unacceptable."
Officers responded to reports of anti-social behaviour involving a group of several hundred young people in Clapham High Street and Clapham Common.
The Mayor of London said on X: “The appalling scenes in Clapham in recent days are absolutely unacceptable and those responsible will face the full force of the law.”
"Two arrests have been made and the Met is continuing to investigate.
"There will be an increased police presence in the area in the coming days, with officers providing support and reassurance to residents and businesses."
Police responded to reports of anti-social behaviour involving several hundred young people in the area.
Some of the group attempted to access shops and a restaurant, while fires were lit and fireworks set off.
Similar behaviour had taken place in the same area on Saturday night, with videos shared widely on Monday.
Acting on information suggesting plans for a repeat last night, a dispersal order was authorised in advance and additional officers were deployed to ensure any antisocial behaviour could be dealt with quickly.
Around 100 officers were involved in responding to the anti-social behaviour over the course of the evening.
Five people were assaulted, including four police officers.
One officer was taken to hospital as a precaution after suffering an injury to his arm while making an arrest.
Three girls, a 17-year-old and two aged 13, were arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
The 17-year-old has been charged and bailed to appear in court later this month, while two 13-year-olds have also been granted bail.
Detective chief superintendent Emma Bond, who leads policing in the area, said: "We recognise the concern that this incident will have caused the community in Clapham.
"We have a clear plan in place should any further disorder take place in the coming days and are in close contact with our partners and businesses in the area."

It's nothing new and not exclusive to London. Back in the days of football casuals this used to happen in Edinburgh and Glasgow and i'm sure some cities down south. I was never into football or the gang stuff but i know people that were and took part in aforementioned antics. Most of them grew up into reasonably decent contributing members of society. This lot will be the same. They aren't kids forever.
In the 90s i went there a lot. My mate was in the met Police. The stories he told me would have you locking yourself indoors permanently. Two examples:
1. Guy in a tower block randomly decided to test his rifle on a person walking down the high st
2. Couple went to get into a black cab. A guy pushed them out of the way, stabbing the husband, and got in the taxi.
3. And another guy told me he was at the cashpoint. A young kid with a knife came up to him and told him to give him money. He was too young to be prosecuted if caught and there was a couple of guys on hand if he decided to beat the crap out of the kid!
I didn't see any such thing but I can see how easy is to make a place look like a no go area!
