Oh you lot are so cynical! the article clearly says it was a personal unconditional gift?
Who amongst us hasn't received an unconditional £5m gift without any strings attached at all.....?
Shame on you and your scurrilous minds
It was to protect against personal attacks for the rest of his life. I totally believe that. Who amongst us hasn't received an unconditional £5m gift without any strings attached at all.....?

And then a few months later someone tried and failed to push a burning rag through his letterbox. I for one am sure that wasn't any kind of false flag to justify the donation (he was out of the house at the time thank god).
The man is as honest as the day is long and I for one will be voting for Refform at the next election now I know that he has more than enough money not to be corrupted in anyway.

Apparently it was the "Assault by deadly Milkshake" which prompted the completely unsolicited no-strings £5m donation from the Crypto Billionaire to the politician who strongly supports Crypto. And then a few months later someone tried and failed to push a burning rag through his letterbox. He says he wants nothing in return, but Reform have been far more supportive of cryptocurrency since these donations started. Strange coincidence.
If the money was given to him "so that I would be safe and secure for the rest of my life" it should be pretty easy for Farage to show it was spent on security.
If I was looking to ensure someone was "safe and secure for the rest of my life" I might be minded to pay for security for them rather than hand them a lump sum.
Whole thing is a bit odd.

It's as honest as his girlfriend buying a house in ClactonIf I was looking to ensure someone was "safe and secure for the rest of my life" I might be minded to pay for security for them rather than hand them a lump sum.

Cant believe the timing of this news. The day after the 3 line whip, and with the 3 rent Boys in Court, we hear about this...
Well spotted. The timing of this news is clearly the most important part of the story. In fact the story was to be published Monday but NF when asked for a response referred it to his solicitors who requested further time to think of a response, hence the delay.
