Expect outrage from the usual suspects accusing him of sitting on a huge pile of $100 bills stolen from widows and orphans.

Money is meaningless to people like him, it's just a number.

Fair play to him though.

He's as incredible in some areas as much of a tool he is in others.

So, if Musk sold everything at current valuation, and could take it all as actual cash, he'd own around 40% of all the US currency.

Can we just be outraged at his moronic chainsaw antics which, as just a single example, has led to the resurgence of the screw worm in the US because studies into the sex life flies was deemed to be woke.

He a dangerous narcissist who believes his own myth.

I've no issue with wealth...but I do take great issues with the wealthy having power over governments.

Only another 2 trillion to go and he can pay off our national debt.

Momento Mori!

He’ll be remembered as the worlds first trillionaire, a genius by some, an absolute psycho by others.

Interesting article on how he is gaming (and not in a good way) the stock market and investment funds.

Ignore the first section about racism (tho Elon Musk is a terrible judge of liking tweets; it’s the second section that is interesting.

I wonder how he will be viewed in 10, 20 30 years.

I think it won't be as favourably as some seem to think he should be now.

He is, to put it mildly, a rather divisive character.

I have no doubt he is in some ways a genius, but he's also in some ways a massively objectionable full weight walloper.

By the time he wired it over this lot would have spunked another trillion or two.

He could just help his mate Donald out and pay off 5% of the US national debt. Hardly seems worth the bother as it’ll just get spunked on an arch or a ballroom or something.

It’s quite stark how in the past 30 years the rich have got so much richer

The gap continues to widen and the social contract gets ever more strained. I’m 56. I hope it doesn’t break in my lifetime as it will be grim.
