With social media regulation at the forefront of Sir Keir's agenda will UKGov tackle corruption ?

I'm not in the least bit surprised by that article, unfortunately.
They exploit the perceived seediness of sex work and anything adjacent to it on the basis people are less likely to report anything, and less likely to take any reports seriously.
You wouldn't hear of a management agency for baby sitters or window cleaners or any other "normal" category of small independent workers behaving like this.

If you exclude the fact this is online, is there not already legislation and laws to arrest the people who have been threatening the models and extorting money from her? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c932gpk2l1do
What would you have the Government do?

Existing legislation and enforcement is clearly not working.

Sounds like the digital version of pimping.
Yeap, it's a complete shock that digital prostitutes are suddenly surprised that digital pimps from organised crime gangs also exist. Well no poop sherlock, and in every case reported so far, the victims a willingly went to a pimp first to get more money first before realising that the pimp has a digital (and real in some cases) pimp slap to keep them in line. When you act like w
e don't be surprised when your pimp treats you like a w
e, sadly.I know it looks like victim blaming but in reality it's common bloody sense.

Increase legislation ?

Msybe it is the enforcement that us the problem not the law.Existing legislation and enforcement is clearly not working.
To use an example from another area the laws governing unlicensed or insured motorbikes are adequate but food delivery drivers are using them because tbe laws are not being enforced.
I mean I'm not surprised at all. The money some of these girls make is completely mental and if some nutter of a bloke used to command a dozen girls to stand on a street corner and take a cut of their much smaller earnings it wasn't going to be long before this happened.
Don't know how much can be done in all honesty. The online world as we know it can be a cruel place with many places to hide.

Back to online porn corruption, victims would benefit from an urgent review of legislation and enforcement.

Completely ban OF.What would you have the Government do?
The Government needs to go after the corruptors, not the users.
Essentially what the Tates have been accused of doing.

Just making the point that it isn't OF doing that - it's 'managing agents' who lure in creators and then manipulate and coerce the creators.
Not commenting on OF in general but the distinction needs to be made that it's a 'bad actor' third party making the threats and carrying out violence, not OF itself.
