That has to be balanced against the person who therefore doesn't get justice for a recent crime. It's a zero sum game. If court time is used for one thing, it can't the used for another.

Id rather he didn't hide it though if you know what I mean, he was out, couldn't resist a bit of downloaded cp and got put back in prison.

It removed any doubt about him and boldly underlined that he was not and never would be reformed by his stint inside.
