Obviously I will get a lot of flack for even raising this but Ealing council put a post on facebook about dealing with anti-social behaviour in the local community and reporting it as appropriate so it can be dealt with.

What’s clearly apparent from the numerous replies is that near enough every area in and around that borough is overun with drug users / shoplifters / relentless begging / criminality eg outside every supermarket and shopping areas, tube stations, high street. From my experience other boroughs are the same.

Literally every post is describing what I also see (I’m in London). Every area is ruined. People don’t feel safe or comfortable going in and out past these people, they’re watching non-stop and they’re constantly on the look out for an ‘opportunity’. It’s why every major shop is making it impossible to get out past their barriers now without scanning receipts. Reportedly many homeless even state they want to remain homeless as they don’t want to abide by the minimal rules of hostels. Ie they want to get wasted.

Presumably why all the rich lot moved to the Cotswolds.

We do pander to the feckless and lazy. I understand addiction and its consequences but we need to clean this st up.
