They can't even a agree a trade deal, they've been trying to ratify one for the last ten years
Iirc the tiny Belgian state of Wallonia rejected it back in 2016 and ever since they've been bunfighting over it with only about a third of EU states approving it

It makes perfect sense and, funnily enough, with the US going senile and Russia throwing its military weight around, it's focused people's minds. Canada and the EU already have a close trading relationship so in the past the marginal cost of the Belgians complaining about the duty on biscuits wasn't that great. Now the stakes are significantly higher and therefore so is the appetite for cooperation and compromise.

IMO, Europe will start making more deals with nations like Canada - places such as India, China, even African and South American countries.
People are looking to replace and diversify away from USA.

I think the US will get around that by "divide and conquer". You only have to look at the EU and several South American countries to see that the US has a strong fan base.However, those who then quote AI at me in a forum need a bigger slap.
