I’m amazed something hasn’t happened before. The US has virtually irreplaceable aircraft that when new cost hundreds of millions of dollars parked in the open.

Our borders don’t even leak they are basically open. Iran has a big interest in taking them out. It’s only a matter of time.

Yet another example of “not a serious country” syndrome.

Sadly, it will take something serious (which I dread) for us to wake up. If we do.

Something like this Fairford incident, or a debt default, or major and sustained power outages or any of the other uncontrolled risks we hold.

There is a large scale exercise on the go too at the moment, runs for another 2 weeks. Its been very busy at certain airfields of late.

From what I read it is maybe an incident on the base itself, maybe a loading issue or something, or it could be more serious, such as an abandoned car or something.

People have also been arrested.
