I'm sure there was a thread about Palantir but as ever the search is rubbish and I can't find it; man on Palantir's payroll whines about opposition to Palantir in ridiculous manner.

“One of the things I’d say to my former colleagues is: do you want to let the rule of law lead procurement practice, or do you want mob rule to lead procurement practices? Because you get yourself in a lot of trouble if you go down on the latter one.”
To spout such utter tripe about people complaining about Palantir being given half a billion in contracts without any competitive tendering is hilarious. What an arse he is.

Why would a global tech company interested in public sector contracts employ an ex government minister? Everyone can join the dots yet he claims due process must apply.

What he needs to understand is there are rules about engaging with hostile states of which the US might end up being with the current mob.

I think I said on another thread when this was mentioned that if you had to have a bingo card of former politicians who would turn up at places like Palantir I wouldn't have had Tom Watson on it.

He's taken a leave of absence from the House of lords. As a life peer Baron Watson can lose his peerage if he doesn't attend to duties in the House.

Given there's a universe sized conflict on interest they should strip him of his peerage. They won't it's a nose in the trough swamp and it never happens.

Tom Watson, one time self-appointed Noncefinder General, hanging out with the freaks at Palantir?

Just continuing his old habits.

Why does Thiel name his businesses Palantir and Anduril, when Nazgul or Balrog would be more fitting?

Something from Wagner feels like it would be more his lane.

Labour have been in Palantir's bed for some time now.

The same Palantir that have been working with the UK government since 2012?

I think they should be booted out (Palantir, not Labour). Unfortunately once a parasite lays its eggs, it's hard to remove the infestation.

He had a whole body transplant around the time Corbyn was defenestrated, but appears to have become pie-positive again.
