I think his successful defence would be that he is so obviously a stupid tw£t that you would also be stupid to follow his advice. wink

PH - Gloating matters.

Carry on, it's wonderful seeing someone publicly destroyed (same as Olf's thread about his consultant mate)

Deserves a laugh in its own right, that one.

Someone should ring him up and swap him a half decent toupe for a weekend in 'Paul Harris World'.

That is the best advice I have ever been given. That, and 'don't eat yellow snow' anyway.

If only you had got in earlier, you would have been up big time. I imagine GB got out around 950 and is now waiting for the huge drop before getting back in.

C'mon he was ever so slightly troll'ish with his constant cr*pping on about gold, often on completely irrelevant threads.

Tim - I'm totally onboard - we've had months of GB talking about falling house prices and his great investment - hence the smiley smile

I pinned him before on it..

He vanishes when Gold is dropping though....

Though he is obviously a child, i hope he genuinely hasnt lost his pocket money.

He was only banging on about gold because he was bitter about not being able to buy a house.

That and the fact that he didn't have a clue. . .

Tonker, beer for having the balls to (completely anonymously!) admit to making a piss-poor investment decision

Don't see how you can sue the bloke, though. You could have ignored his advice, couldn't you? I always regarded you as one of the more astute on PH when it comes to money matters....

Ah fairy-nough.

Well a good bumming from the market is just what GB needed to calm him down.

I expect it'll go back up in time. But it might teach him a lesson.
