If you burn down the house, surely you stick around to claim? Hard to see burning the stables and the horses as a profitable 'exit strategy'.

Granted, I'm no fan of dogs... hehe

Looks like there was a burglary too around the same time he was allegedly blackmailed in 2006.

I'm struggling with this one.

Say it's an insurance job- if you were sentimental enough to take the dogs, would you leave the horses to burn?

Doesn't make sense to me...

Also he has 2 Porsches and an Aston, I can only see in the photos the wreckage of one possible sports car.

If they have been killed in the house, I can"t see why you would burn every building down.

That and blocking the gate would be a huge give away to the police.

Have they been able to search the house yet?

No apparently it is unsafe.

I somehow don"t think they have done a runner.

Just up the road from me.
A bit further for us, probably a good 3-4 hour drive depending upon the traffic.

If that photograph (on the link) was taken on Monday, on the face of it, they don't seem to have had any undue worries................

Unfortunately my money is on them being inside.

You don't burn your horses with your house. That girl would never speak to her Dad again, nor would his wife I suspect.

I dont think its arson on the owners part. I suspect the owner would be more careful in such a scheme. A potential loss of 1 million £ + a jail sentence = very hefty stakes. If I where that way inclined, then there is no way this story would be on the news.

I hope they are ok.

Sounds like he's upset the wrong people. Reminds me of that case of the Indian family that were murdered, IIRC they found some of them out in the sea. That was all down to 'business' as well.

I'll get a map and work out how far away I am...
