Hunt supporter killed.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a hunt supporter died when he was hit by a gyrocopter at an airfield.

I'd hang fire before drawing too many conclusions. Something like this, its not uncommon to arrest just to be on the safe side - even if it later transpires to be accidental.

I think, and hope your probably right, in a similar manner that the police arrest drivers after fatal accidents in order that any evidence is collected under caution should it need to be used. I have never had strong views on hunting and respect both sides of the argument. One would hope that protesters who placed a high price on the sanctity of animal life, would place the same value on human life.

How can you not notice a Gyrocopter heading for you?!!

They are noisy and slow!

As for the charges, well I think perfectly plausible for them to get away without prison, due to mental health reasons. After all they were in a Gyrocopter.

That's a nasty, hate-filled little post. Care to clarify why you put less value on the lives of humans than foxes? That seems to be the extent of your argument - "he supported fox-hunting, therefore it is great to see him die a nasty, painful and violent death". I'm guessing that if hunting involved running over foxes in a gyrocopter you would be against it. But it's OK with you if humans are killed in this way?
