Gordon Brown offers to cut Britain's nuclear arsenal

Britain stands ready to give up part of its nuclear arsenal as part of a multilateral deal involving all weapon-holding states, Gordon Brown said yesterday.

He promised to consider cutting the number of British operational warheads below the present 160 in a move to kick-start the next non-proliferation talks.

Overseas aid budget for this year is £10 billion. India gets £1 billion of that. It's just ordered itself some nice new shiney Russian jet fighters, some great sophisticated American maritime patrol aircraft and a new aircraft carrier. (Not forgetting their space programme)

It seems the aid should actually be coming the other way!

This is what annoys me the most!!!!!!

Why do we give all this aid away to countries that are seemingly in better economical condition than we are!!!

It's like when we pledged aid to Gaza........despite us having sweet F A to do with what went on there!!!



I wish these idiots would stop worrying about other people's problems when we are facing severe enough problems of our own at home!!! How are you supposed to help others if you cant even help yourselves!
